There are two options to complete your PADI Open Water Course:

1.Option one is for 2DiVE4 to conduct the full course here for you in only two weekends.

2.Option two is to complete the theory and pool modules with 2DiVE4 over one weekend and then to complete the qualifying dives abroad.

 

Option One -£549

The Full PADI Open Water Course

The full PADI Open Water Course is conducted over two weekends. The first step is to contact Learn to Scuba Dive Hertford to book onto your PADI Open Water Course and select your desired dates. We will then send out your PADI Open Water Crew Pack containing the home study materials for you to get studying straight away.

Once you have completed the home study you attend the first chosen weekend of the course. The theory modules are conducted at Learn to Scuba Dive Hertford’s Scuba School based near Stansted in Essex on Saturday and Sunday mornings, where one of our team members will conduct the five theory modules over the two mornings.

You will then get a chance to see all the dive gear you will be using during the course and get a chance to see the different brands and variations in scuba diving equipment available.

Once the theory modules are completed we then make our way to our pool location where your diving instructor will conduct the confined water modules of the course. There are around 24 skills you need to master in the pool over the five pool dives. The five dives are conducted on Saturday and Sunday afternoon by Learn to Scuba Dive Hertford’s experienced and patient dive team. [Wiki]

Over the first weekend you would have successfully completed all the theory modules and pool modules of the course. This will then leave you four open water qualifying dives to do with Learn to Scuba Dive Hertford the following weekend at our training lake.

The four open water qualifying dives at our training lake will be conducted on the second weekend. You will conduct two dives each day and on the dives your diving instructor will ask you to repeat a selection of skills you already mastered in the pool the previous week. The only difference is that you will be doing it in a deeper environment.

Learn to Scuba Dive Hertford give you one on one supervision as standard on all four of your open water dives, so you will be well looked after. In our training lake you will find a sunken double-decker bus, airplanes and boats, all put there for points of interest for the new diver.

At the end of each dive you will complete a dive log in your own log supplied PADI log book. After the fourth dive we will be shaking your hand and saying congratulations, you are now a fully qualified PADI Open Water Diver”.

The PADI Open Water Referral Course

The PADI Open Water Referral Course is conducted over one weekend where we will conduct all five theory and pool modules of the course. We will then sign your paperwork for you to take to a PADI dive resort on holiday to complete the four open eater dives.

The first step is to contact Learn to Scuba Dive Hertford to book onto your PADI Open Water Referral Course and select your desired dates. We will then send out your PADI Open Water Crew Pack containing the home study materials for you to get studying straight away.

Once you have completed the home study you attend your chosen weekend of the course.
